Youd established his law practice in Salem, Oregon, in 1993 after graduating from the University of Utah S. J. An avid outdoorsman, attorney Youd enjoys many activities, including waterskiing, snow skiing, and surfing.  Two of the reasons attorney Youd chose the Salem, Oregon area to open his law practice were Salem’s natural beauty and its proximity to the amazing Oregon Coast.  Attorney Youd also enjoys spending time with his family, including his five children, and participating in religious activities as a youth group mentor and teacher.
